Right from the group’s inception in 1993, a portion of the annual turnover was set aside for community-focused activities as well as charity works. Gradually, as the group’s business grew, it was necessary to establish a separate entity to handle this aspect of the group’s activities and thus the Malabar Charitable Trust was established in 1999.

This includes clean environment initiatives, zero waste campaigns, environmental awareness campaigns, reducing air and water pollution, plastic-free campaigns etc. The global headquarters of the group, located at Montana Estates, Kozhikode, Kerala is a perfect testament to our commitment towards the environment.
