Malabar Charitable Trust
Serving the community that helped propel us to where we are right now and take part in their upliftment has always been a strongly held ethos at Malabar Group. Right from the group’s inception in 1993, a portion of the annual turnover was set aside for community-focused activities as well as charity works. Gradually, as the group’s business grew, it was necessary to establish a separate entity to handle this aspect of the group’s activities and thus the Malabar Charitable Trust was established in 1999.
In nearly a decade and a half since the Malabar Charitable Trust commenced its activities, nearly more than 7 lakh needy persons have been recipients of financial assistance for medical purposes, with a total amount of nearly Rs. 38.47 Crore disbursed till date. In addition, during this period, at different locations across the country, the Trust has organized free medical camps in communities where the company has a presence.
