Malabar Charitable Trust
All the Malabar Group charity activities are routed through Malabar Charitable Trust and only online applications are accepted from the public. Recommended charitable activities that comes via Malabar Group’s numerous retail establishments are also carried out.
5% of net profits from Malabar Group is earmarked for CSR activities (even though the central government only stipulates that only 2% of profits be set aside for CSR activities). In addition to this, generous donations from the group’s employees, investors, and well-wishers also pools into the fund for our numerous activities.
Generally, CSR funds of all establishments under the Malabar Group are distributed through Malabar charitable trust and only a very small portions are spent directly by the showrooms and retail establishments towards medicines and food kits. Bills submitted in favour of Malabar Charitable Trust, are verified, and paid to the suppliers directly. Direct offline applications are generally not encouraged. All the online charity related applications received through www.malabarcharitabletrust.org are verified against the original documents entrusted to the Malabar Gold & Diamonds showrooms, and their merits are assessed.
